I was born in Alessandria (Piemonte, Italy) in 1973.
In 1999 I received my first degree in Film Studies at Bologna University.
In my dissertation I tried to adapt Emmanuel Lévinas' theory
of human face to cinematographic close up.
In 2005 I finished my Ph.D. in Communication and New Technologies
at IULM Milan University. My Ph.D. dissertation is called The
number-image. Image, reality and digital revolution. It is
about the changes occurred in the relation between image and reality
with the advent and the spreading of digital technologies. I spent
a year at Philosophy Department of Loyola Chicago University to
complete my work.
During the last six years I have been Assistant Professor of Creative
Writing for Media at IULM University.
I am presently working like author at NextMediaLab, a communication
agency specialized in New Media projects.
